PGRP Summer Internship Student
Jacob arrived at Cornell from Reed College, where he completed his degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2015. At Reed, he has worked in the Dalton lab studying the diversity and plant growth-promoting potential of proteobacteria in the coralloid roots of Cycas revoluta. Here in the Rose lab, he worked with graduate student Nicholas Segerson to uncover the mechanism of catecholamine action in Arabidopsis.
Outside of lab, Jacob enjoys rollerblading, running, hiking, snowboarding, and yoga. He played club soccer at Reed and joined a summer adult soccer league while in Ithaca.
